Terms and Conditions 

Booking and Trip Confirmation 

Pre booking and payment must be made on line in advance at www.schoolsoutfac.co.uk.  Payment can be made using your PayPal account or scroll down under the PayPal login to check out using a debit or credit card.  All payments are secure via PayPal.

Trips will only be confirmed to run when minimum bookings have been met, your booking will be confirmed as received by email at the time of booking, a subsequent email will be sent when the trip is confirmed.  Until this time your booking will remain pending but payment will be immediate.

You will not be required to bring confirmation of your booking to register upon arrival.  Registers will be generated prior to the date of travel and include all your details.

Cancellation 

Trips will only run if the minimum number of seats are booked.  Schools Out Family Activity Club reserve the right to cancel a trip if under subscribed or for any other reason, up to 24 hours prior to the date of travel.  A full refund will be made to your original payment method within 48 hours of cancellation notice

In case of an emergency, it may not be possible to run a trip on the date of travel due to inclement weather or transport issues or another reason.  Notification will be as early as possible via email, text and posted on the Facebook page.  Please check before you travel to your pick up point.  A member of staff will be in attendance at the pick up point to inform you of cancellation should you miss any announcements.  A full refund will be issued via your original payment method within 48 hours.

You have a right to cancel your booking up to the travel date.  This must be made by calling Rachel Voller on 07795972477 asap.  Refunds will not be issued for cancelled bookings as trips will only be confirmed to run when minimum bookings have been met therefore any refunds will impede on the trip running.  You are entitled to sell on your tickets, please inform Rachel Voller by calling 07795972477 to update names registered to the booking.  This must be done at least 48 hours before the travel date where possible.

Coach Seating Plan 

A coach seating plan will be issued 24 hours before the date of travel via email.  This is to ensure swift boarding and to ensure families, friends and groups can be seated as near to each other as possible.  A request for seating preferences will be sent via email up to 48 hours prior to the date of travel.  Please check your emails and respond asap to benefit from this service.  The seating plan will be sent out via email 24 hours before the date of travel.  Printed copies will be available as you board at your pick up point.  You are welcome to swap seats within your allocated seats if desired.  Please use your allocated seats on the return journey.

Medical/Disabled Passengers

Those customers who may have medical requirements which require specific seating requests can call Rachel Voller on 07795972477 prior to booking.  Requests will be honoured where possible and on a first come first serve basis.

Coaches are not adapted for disabled passengers unable to board the coach without the use of a lift.  Assistance will be provided by the driver to help limited mobility customers board and disembark the coach.

Child Travel Arrangements

Children aged 0-1 can travel on an adult lap (please note only lap belts are fitted) and therefore do not need to pay for a seat.  The child must be registered on booking on the booking form. Children over the age of 1 must purchase a seat.  Seats can be purchased for children aged 0-1 providing they can sit independently without a car seat. Some excursions will require you to purchase an entry ticket for a child 0-1 but not a seat on the coach – details will be provided on the booking form.  Child age will vary depending on entry ticket regulations for different venues, these will detailed on the ticket choices when booking.

Personal Items and Luggage

Customers are welcome to bring buggies and bags on each trip and other accessories within reason (beach items/scooters).  These will be stored in the hold of the coach.  Items can be left on the coach for the duration of the trip but may not be accessible until departure time.

Marc1 Travel and Schools Out Family Activity Club cannot be held responsible for any damage to your property or items lost.  Items left on the coach may be found and returned but must be reported asap to Rachel Voller on 07795972477.

Pick up and Drop Off Points 

Pick up and drop off points will be advertised on each event description, please select your chosen pick up/drop off point when booking on line, choices will be listed on the booking form.  Please be at the pick up point 5 minutes prior to the advertised pick up time.  A member of staff will either be at your pick up point or ready to greet you on the coach when it arrives.  You are responsible for ensuring you are at the departure point in advance.  The coach will not wait post departure time. Staff Attendance and Supervision

A member of staff may not always attend the coach trip to the final destination. In this instance a volunteer customer will be available to register your party back on the coach at the confirmed departure point.  It is important that you are at the departure point at least 10 minutes prior to the time advertised.  You will be advised of this prior to departing for your trip.

Excursions including tickets for entry to a venue will be attended by a member of staff who will collect and allocate tickets on arrival.

Coach Etiquette & Facilities 

Food and drink can be eaten on the coach providing all rubbish and crumbs are cleared and deposited in the rubbish bags provided.

Coaches may have a toilet on board but not all the fleet does so please check with Rachel Voller prior to booking if this is imperative.  Please note that toilets should only be used in an emergency.

Some coaches have air conditioning but not all – this cannot be specified prior to travelling.  All have cooling fan systems.

Please note that Marc1 Travel are providing use of their fleet at discounted prices and not all their fleet are executive coaches, they are however fully safety checked and certificated but to secure low prices we are unable to use luxury vehicles.

Privacy Policy – your details are only collected for the purposes of the booking transaction and only used for communication regarding your booking and to generate a register for the excursion.  Schools Out Family Activity Club does not share your details with any third parties for marketing purposes.  Payment details are not stored as these are only provided when paying via PayPal on their site, please refer to their privacy policy for details.
